Triple day
Yesterday was Mothers Day, Valentines Day and Fastelavnsdag! The last one is also known as "bun day" and it is customary to eat lots of sweet buns with whipped cream and jam (see photo of our homemade buns). I'm not sure what it is all about really but it seems to be connected to Mardi Gras and lent and Christianity somehow.
Anyway, I got a Noora Noor CD for mothers day and we enjoyed the boller.

In sweden we call it "Semla!" we did them too this week end but they didn´t turn out very well as I forgt to add baking powder.... Lotta
Buns look really nice. its great to get out and about,even though its on a frozen lake.
