Speedy Lithuanians

Two very hard working men built our new terrace at the front of the house and built a new extended terrace in the back garden in just two days.

The terrace at the front will get the morning sunshine (when it shines, haha) and the terrace at the back is more than twice the size it was before so now no one needs to sit in the garden!

May is a busy month

April in Norway was the warmest in 110 years or something silly like that.

You never know at this time of the year though, 17th May (National Day)  can be absolutely freezing!  So we shall see.....

Several birthdays and anniversaries in the family this month and then Jarle and I are going to Florence for a long weekend at the end of May.  It is my birthday present and I am really looking forward to it.  We do have a handy little Italian phrase book which we left at the flat.....duh!
